Crains got it wrong. They said that it is the GOP nominee that hasn’t been selected. It is the Democratic nominee that hasn’t been selected for Lane Evan’s seat. Ooops
The landfill issue sounds trivial, but somehow many voters care about this family feud. While it has some legal angles, the political hurt is coming from people who don’t like seeing a governor fighting within his own family. I didn’t think it was a big deal until I learned that non-political folks are dissing the governor due to how he handled his family ties.
I guess Blagojevich better hope that this issue also stays below radar before November.

I heard late this afternoon that the 07 budget will be passed by one house tomorrow and the other on Wednesday. Any truth to this?
