* Many, many thanks to all of you who bought tickets for my City Club of Chicago speech. Yesterday’s address was a sold out event and I’m told it was the year’s top seller. They had to find room to add seats. Also, lots of thanks to the City Club for inviting me. It was a privilege and a high honor and I had a whole lot of fun.

considering how long paul green has been at it, all the people he’s introduced and how usually they introduce people giving everything but their jr grades, I thought it was pretty nice the way he introduced you considering most people who don’t read this blog and perhaps your s-times thing have no idea who you are or your role in the process. your opening bit was more entertaining than the last 3 gop gubernatorial and senate primaries combined.

The Illinois Senate, with the 11 votes to spare for the Dems; you were spot-on with your assessment of the “herding crazy cats” and the difference in the senate.
