Read HB11 amendment Sen. amendment 2….defines concealed as entirely concealed. Limits to 1 firearm + one 10 round magazine carried.
I stopped reading there.

If i am wrong please correct me but i believe the reasoning for the mostly concealed language is to cover legitimate accidental exposure. I.e. The wind catches your jacket and the butt is exposed. Seems like a common sense thing to not arrest someone because of an unplanned gust of wind.

Mason born, that is exactly why complete concealment was not in the bill.

Jeff
As i thought just wanted to point out the difference between what Quinn wanted and common sense.

Last few days I have been in North Carolina and Oregon, signage to prohibit carry does not seem to be a problem. I have been in about 20 states in last 6 months, same in all.

Both houses override…good. Now all the shootings killings in Chicago will stop.

@ deep south
It will not stop the Chicago violence. The good people under siege will have chance for self protection, but as long as the majority remain silent and the underlying issues are ignored, the violence will continue.

Get rid of the gangs, cut off their welfare should solve some of the problem.

Good. I had no problem with the follow-on except for the signage changes, but I had big issues with that part.

I agree the signage was a big one. I also thought giving school administrators the authority to declare someone a danger all by themselves seemed a bit much. Unless most of them are Psychiatrists and i missed it.

On a side note i wouldn’t be surprised if something similar would pass during veto session. I suspect a lot of people are P’od at Quinn for the way he worked his veto and not in the mood to give him a win on any of it.
