* Bruce Rauner’s campaign just reported a $250,000 contribution from wealthy Republican Richard Uihlein. I’m sure you’ll remember him…
[Uihlein] has contributed nearly $4 million to national tea party candidates and their super-PAC juggernaut, plus almost $1.8 million to the most conservative candidates and causes in Illinois.
“I’m a conservative Republican, and I’m trying to help people who believe as I do in limited government and free markets,” says Mr. Uihlein, 68. “I’m not one to hide from that.”
* Uihlein’s contribution is the third $250K contribution Rauner has received in the past couple of weeks.
Rauner has raised over $2.2 million in the past month, including a million dollars from himself.
* Meanwhile, Comcast just told reporters about a new Bruce Rauner cable TV buy. Fox News in all Chicago-area zones and a bunch of Downstate areas…

1) Wow…
2) It’s one thinhg to hone a message, its another to try to hone a message so much it becomes “White Noise”, causing the eyes to glaze over.
Intro pieces that play over and over and over lead to more questions, not just better name ID.
You got the money, Rauner Crew, how about you shoot another spot? Thanksgiving to January 5th is the “dead zone”, but if you are going to be “up”, realize the diminishing returns come quicker than you make want.

Uline must be remembered as the “limited government” guy who got some cash from WI by moving a warehouse over the boarder…His cash came from America’s most protected industries — the brewers.

Uihlein is Tillman and Dan Proft’s puppet. He’s nothing special. Just another sap who inherited his money and can be told by others what to do with it. Nothing tea party about Bruce Rauner, Rahm or his union-made millions. If the tea party bumpkins support this creep, just shows how easily they can be mislead by the pied pipers.

–“I’m a conservative Republican, and I’m trying to help people who believe as I do in limited government and free markets,” says Mr. Uihlein, 68.–
By limited, Uihlein means limited to the $6 million handout that Wisconsin gave him to move a warehouse over the border.
And yes, CFS is right, the Schlitz fortune the kids have been playing with grew due to government protection of the big brewers.

@Wordslinger - did he get actually get a “handout” - or just a tax credit for moving that warehouse? (I’m just asking because it’s not the same thing at all in my opinion.)

Amazing a guy like Richard Uilhein could be so gullible and still get so rich.
