* After that $2.5 million contribution by Ken Griffin to Bruce Rauner, this one almost looks small…
All in!! $330,000.00 from AFSCME Illinois Special PAC Account to Illinois Freedom PAC. http://t.co/JpGqimd1QV

Illinois Freedom PAC is the union-funded group which tried to keep Rauner from winning the GOP primary.
* By the way, the Tribune employees who created the above Twitter feed have a great little techie blog that the nerds definitely should be reading.

I know a Rauner administration would be terrible for public employees, but if I were AFSCME, I’d give Quinn twelve bucks and say “we’re here for you as much as you were here for us AFTER your last election. Good luck!”

Not sure how Rauner could be worse than Quinn for state employees. You do more for less money and less resources than after the last republican governor who went to prison. And if Quinn and Madigan stay in control, they will figure out a way to screw you out of your pensions to pay for more welfare. Rauner wants to put your money in a 401k so the state has no control over it.
If you think your pension is better off in the hands of Mike Madigan and Pat Quinn than under your own control, you are not smart enough to draw a taxpayer funded paycheck, and God forbid you are a teacher because you obviously can’t do simple arithmetic.

Typically that would, needless to say, be QUITE a hefty donation…but appearing now on the heels of the Griffin Grandiose GaZILLionaire gift to his fellow uber-wealthy pal, well, it’s frankly peanuts…!
