I realized that the most important thing for me was to be the best dressed person in all my pictures. And so as long as Bruce is being Carhardt Bruce and hanging out with bikers, my $250 shirts will look pretty good when I take pictures with him.

Maybe Bruce just helped Aaron become Chief Deputy Whip, eh? Maybe, just maybe that’s a better path than he was on. Helping an ambitious guy fulfill his ambition, no matter how it plays out, still yields a result of satisfaction for the ambitious guy. This relationship appears to have been mended. There are votes in Central/Southern Illinois. Schock can deliver them. Rauner is practical.
