* We’re coming to this a bit late, but the governor is hosting a live Q&A on Twitter. Some of the questions are good, some are funny, some are goofy trolls and the Rauner campaign has jumped in as well (Rich Goldberg’s tweets). Follow along with ScribbleLive…

Can we get a live camera on the Tweet session? I would love to see Quinn passing notes to Brooke Anderson so she can respond to the questions for him.

Let’s be a little fair; good posture when typing is critical to prevent…Carpel Tunnel, neck cramps…any good typing teacher would agree.

“When will you announce your plan to invade and conquer Missouri?”
That’s the question of the day, as asked on the twitter feed.

Some of these questions are hilarious. #Trolledhard Others are just depressing facts.
Not clear how many original questions are actually being answered vs how many “answers” are just excuses to push a few pre-scripted talking point tweets.
He still gets an A for effort. Content? An Incomplete.

Nice softball question DePaul Democrats re “voter suppression.” LOL, why not just ask “why are you so awesome?” like you wanted to?

Went about how you’d expect, exception being the Benghazi questions. I didn’t see that coming.

I liked the question about mowing the lawn in kakis…
Comment by OneMan Friday, Sep 19, 14 @ 2:13 pm
Yeah, in fairness his lawn looks like it takes five minutes to cut.

Worth a shot. Twitter has it uses, like for breaking news and such, but most of it is navel-gazing.

I think this idea is not worthwhile, but to be fair I never have been able to find any use for Twitter.
A torrent of short, simplistic questions, good, bad and silly, overwhelming the ability to come up with acceptable but awfully boring, pablum-like answers.
This is such a huge waste of time and so inherently uninformative, even Rauner’s campaign could do it.

==“When will you announce your plan to invade and conquer Missouri?”==
We have no plans to conquer Missouri. Our intent is only
1) to help them create a democracy and go home.
2) to burn their baseball stadiums to the ground, so that a World Series game might be played in Illiois during our lifetimes.
3) to destroy all bridges over the Mississippi to prevent businesses from relocating here, where they will create a burden on our infrastructure and contribute to the IPI.
