Charlie Johnson is saying that Zinga mispoke when she said what he told her to say?
He wants to run campaigns and she wants to be in Congress?
That looks like the frontrunner for Bad Political Move of 2006.

I like all the debate that went into the ethics of her tour yesterday, and then she totally blows it by saying something stupid like that. Maybe if Charlie Johnston hadn’t wasted his friday posting on here he coul dhave briefed her better???

Natarus won’t be a laughing embarassment to Chicago much longer.

That Sun-Times article has several other funny Natarus quotes. If nothing else, he’s at least entertaining.
But will you people in the 42nd Ward PLEASE vote him off the City Council this year. He makes you look like idiots too!

Isn’t Charlie Johnston the one who famously advised his candidate, Al Salvi, that Brady was a machine gun dealer or something like that?
Charlie seems to be the man behind the man on a lot of questionable statements

Can some of the Republicans here provide some insight:
Has Charlie Johnson ever won a campaign?
It seems that he is a big part of the problem for Illinois Republicans. They keep hiring the same people and those people just are not very good at campaigning.
Does he work cheap? Is that it?
The flag stunt was a joke that got him limited local press, his statements here about “appeasers” were just strange, and now his defense of Zinga is that she did not parrot his words properly?
Is Hare picking up Charlie’s salary, and if so, why not?

Ding, Ding, Ding…Skeeter nails it!!

I think Zinga should be required to list that Springfield press conference as an in-kind donation to the Hare Campaign. What a moron.
In the meantime, I think we’ve found an excellent Governor / Lt. Governor slate for the “GoofBall Party” in the 2010 General Election: Natarus / Zinga…and don’t worry Charlie Johnston, we’ll let you manage the race so you have the opportunity to continue to dive on-top of the daily PR grenades for them.
Where do we find these idiots?

Skeeter:
In answer to your questions,
1.) No, Charlie Johnston has never won a campaign.
2.) Charlie is a reason as to why Republicans lose campaigns. There are inexperienced candidates out there who think fast-talkers like Charlie are competent.
3.) No, he does not work cheap. I looked up what he WAS making with McSweeney and it was somthing like $7K a month.
4.) Good question.
5.) Again, good question.
A few days ago, it was asked why Charlie was spending so much time on here blogging, when he should be running the campaign. Charlie responded that it only took a few seconds to post and he had plenty of time to run the campaign.
Obviously, this was not the case.
Care to comment, Charlie?
