Someone ought to tell Ron that this IS the next legislative session, a special one called by the governor.

Representative Durkin, you are being very condescending and it is so unbecoming of you.

If Munger doesn’t care, why should anyone else?

Did Durkin just call out Rep. Currie as a liar, with his “whopper” comment?

Our new Illinois GOP is sure sounding an awful lot like the Republicans in Congress. Oh boy, are we in for a long 4 years.

Dwight Kay - yes, go to court with that as the basis of your legal challenge - that Rep. Whoever “doesn’t like” Gov elect Rauner.

As the Illinois GOP keeps trotting out old, white guys, pretty much attacking Rep.Currie, they just show how out of touch they are with the people of the State of Illinois.

Seems that $20 million slush fund is giving the GOP the idea their attitude doesn’t matter much. lol

The men in the GOP caucus are once again coming across as a bunch of angry, ignorant, bitter old men. Clearly they’re frustrated about not being a match for Barbara Currie, even when they gang up.
And then they wonder why voters keep them relegated to super minority (irrelevancy) status.

JBT did win, but not overwhemingly. Clearly, the people voted for JBT, the person, not JBT, the Republican. THe people of this state deserve to be able to vote for the next Comptroller.

Landek voted no in the Senate - he appears to be the only one that broke party ranks. House roll call isn’t posted yet.
