This is precisely why Alexi won’t fit in to Illinois politics…he should be finding some way to launder taxpayer money in to political contributions.
Using his family owned business to collect political contributions is sooo……Oberweiss.
And we all know how we feel about *him*
p.s. If Alexi is doing something illegal, why aren’t the Feds all over him?

Wow. That Hastert robocall is really something. So, any criticism of how Hastert handled (or, rather, didn’t handle) the Foley matter is really a front for electing Hillary as President? Wow, again.

I agree with Senator Obama, Alexi Giannoulias is one of the finest young men I have ever met. Alexi is also one of the most upstanding, honest and hardest workers I have ever met. He will do a great job as our State Treasurer.

read the tribune story–there is no story! it’s a big waste of front-page real estate. neither Alexi nor the bank has done anything wrong. has his opponent accepted contributions from anyone, including PAC’s, who or which might benefit from the policies and practices of the treasurer’s office? or perhaps from her husband’s law clients?
