So what then, a 50% causation standard and a one-year property tax freeze on non-home rule units in exchange for a $3 billion income tax hike?
Not going to get done by Sunday, but I think there would be enough House Dems to put on a structured roll call to get us close.

Anonymous, he talked for about 3 full minutes without saying anything more direct than “our change is real change”, then ended the press conference.
As irritating as it was, answering that question in any real way would have overshadowed the rest of the presser, which was pretty thin on content. I’m sure Trover would have tackled him if he had started to answer it.

I meant it when I said ’shake things up’. Purvis is paid by DHS, is in charge of education in Illinois, and is now in California. Things are arranged randomly. One time my jet got shaken up by turbulence. There were lobsters in stock certificates, jewels in cognac, crystal dishes in silk shirts. Things were mixed up. Do you see what I mean?
