Speaker Madigan says House will remain in "continuous session" this summer, returns June 4. No per diems or mileage.

No Per Diem. I guess legislators are gonna be scrambling to find friendly lobbyists to pick up the tab for dinner.

Fred - I will be looking for various Reps to be standing by the north end Wendy’s and the North Walnut median with signs that say “will work for per diems”.

The governor, in his presser, made it sound like the no per diems was his idea and Madigan gave into him. I find that hard to believe, but can that be true?

So state rep. John c. D’amino needs to stay in springfield, but what about his full time chicago water management job? Can we afford to cover this up longer?
