Oscar’s pretty cute. I thought you were going to ask him what the future looks like, and his answer was “Rough”.

Oscar needs to take a trip to the statehouse and calm everyone down. Too cute!

Senate announces Committee of the Whole for June 30 to hear testimony regarding why Oscar is such a good dog.
Comment by Michelle Flaherty Thursday, Jun 25, 15 @ 7:39 am
Michelle, I’d wager that more Senators would actually show up for that one.
lol

“WHAT A JOKE!! Totally BIASED questions! And a very TINY sample! Plus the cross-tabs show that there was NO RESPONSE to two-thirds of the questions!! And there’s no indication that those questioned were even REGISTERED TO VOTE!! ARE YOU KIDDING??? NO ONE should take this so-called ‘poll’ seriously!!!!”

Who’s a good boy? Is the Governor a good boy? The speaker? Who’s a good boy?

Clearly, Cullerton has gotten to Oscar.

Good thing Oscar took the fifth on the Governor and Speaker question, otherwise he might find a squirrel’s head in his bed similar to the Godfather’s horse head scene.
Comment by Tsavo Thursday, Jun 25, 15 @ 8:26 am
Too bad we didn’t see the fourteen rehearsals where Oscar received a doggy biscuit on the words “Senate President”..

Proving, once again, that dogs are not only nicer than humans, but smarter, too!
Comment by Streator Curmudgeon Thursday, Jun 25, 15 @ 8:34 am
Where Oscar comes from, “Cullerton” means squirrel.
Comment by VanillaMan Thursday, Jun 25, 15 @ 8:36 am
This creates the impression that The President, Oscar and Capt Fax had a little sleep over last night hmmmm.
Could comeone check if the DCFS hotline accepts child abuse complaints when the child in Oscar?
Comment by Anonin' Thursday, Jun 25, 15 @ 8:37 am
Oscar looks just as confused as the Leaders and Governor seem to be.
Comment by Stones Thursday, Jun 25, 15 @ 8:38 am
So, Oscar knows that John is outside, but was looking inside for the Speaker, and had no idea who the governor was. Perfect.

What is your name, what is your quest, and what’s the largest weight that can be carried by a sparrow(English or African)?
Comment by Arizona Bob Thursday, Jun 25, 15 @ 8:51 am
I’m sorry, 47th Ward, but your questions are outside the purview of this sham blog post.
lol

Finally, a scientific poll everyone can agree on. Hope Oscar was compensated at the equivalent of the prevailing wage for focus groups. 3 questions = 1 neck bone.

Oscar, unafraid to look straight at you when discussing the Governor. looking over his shoulder when discussing the Speaker and the Senate president. just like us humans.
