  1. How odd that neither of the bios mention the name Rod Blagojevich.

  2. Try again, bored chairman. The Forbes story on Tusk clearly mentions his time with Rod.

  3. “Even if the ‘No’ may result in you getting fired, stick to what you believe is right. Bradley learned this when working for the former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich. Bradley was Blagojevich’s only senior advisor that did not need immunity during the period of state and federal investigation that ultimately led to the Governor’s arrest. Bradley said ‘No’ the second he was asked to do something illegal. And then he reported it.”

Uh, say what? Could be wrong, but I feel like this is a new tidbit. What was he asked to do and whom did he report it to?

This Village Voice article, quoting Rod, said Bradley didn’t say boo about the pay to play stuff: http://www.villagevoice.com/news/barrett-quizzing-blago-about-bloomies-man-brad-tusk-6683801

  4. Are we recalling these superstars to make the crash landing of the KansasKomet — mentor of GUMBY youth — seem less painful?

I don’t see any mention of Blagojevich’s name in the Tusk article linked. What article are you reading? Am I missing something?

  6. ===I don’t see any mention of Blagojevich’s name in the Tusk article===

    Then you didn’t read it.

    Try again.

He left after the first term. And I wouldn’t trust Rod’s word on anything at all.

  9. Sorry Rich, didn’t see the “Next” at the bottom.
    My bad!

  10. ^ Well, that’s for sure. Still, I wonder what he claimed to have reported that was illegal.

  11. “Continue” not next! Apologies again!

  12. “He left after the first term.”

Saw writing on the wall…truly remarkable that he didn’t get any Rod on him!

  13. Pretty smart guy who still can’t dress himself.

  14. Never understood why someone who was riding that Bloomberg gravy train took a job with Blago.

He could have set up shop in NYC while Bloomberg was mayor and the money would have poured in.

  15. Word, Bradley was young, and interested in building a strong money rather than a large bank account. How can you turn down an opportunity to be a 29 year old deputy governor for Illinois’ first dem governor in 26 years. It didn’t take long for him to recognize that Rod wasn’t all he had hoped he would be. I can also tell you that Bradley fought constantly with the very people who got Rod in he most trouble. Bradley was sharp, hard working, and his follow up was second to none. His success should come as no surprise to anybody who worked with him or for him. Glad to see he is doing well!

  16. Excellent article. I like the “no” part, should be easy to do but too many people make it hard on you when it happens.

  18. Frankly, it’s good to see both smiling again. The last time I saw them they were under incredible stress. Glad to see both were apparently able find satisfying careers after what had to be less than fulfilling stints with Mr. Blagojevich.

  19. Henry Moon, you clearly didn’t know either of these people, nor did you read the linked articles. In other words, thanks for nothing.
