Afscme represents some Neiu workers. When the Rauner cuts first hit the university system last year, Neiu immediately went into layoff mode. That local better than most knows what’s up and what’s at stake.

The empty seats were due to reserved tickets held for the Ken Dunkin Fan Club. Unfortunately there was a scheduling conflict due to an exclusive Wine Club presentation.
The next fan club event is a trip to New York City on March 14th,15th and 16th.

Dunkin came to speak to a small group at UIC during 2010 gubernatorial, I gave him my back; others did the same. Afterwards we all compared notes. Seems like everyone had different for giving this “zero,” zero attention.
