Nice to see that the problem of legal entanglements with our auditors has been eliminated for good. /s

This episode taught Mike Madigan that was NOT the way to make money in Illinois politics. So, he devised a different path- which has worked out real well for him.

“After being released from prison in early 1963, with just $81 to his name, Mr. Hodge lived quietly in Granite City for the next 23 years, serving as a clerk in his sister’s hardware store, then as an auto salesman and finally as a real estate agent. Over the years memories of Mr. Hodge’s embezzlement have faded.” http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1987-01-01/sports/8701010079_1_mr-hodge-state-auditor-orville-hodge
For his own sake, I hope Blago surprises us and follows the example of Mr. Hodge.

Also not the word FINAL on the right side…back when Newspapers could publish two editions a day. Seems like ancient history now..
