If Tony Peraica is behind it, you know it’s legit.

I hope the word “minions” is in the lawsuit.
That’s fun and winning!

Sadly, both are “Yes”, and what makes it sadder is Gonzalez and Peraica might not be in on #2, but are being encouraged all the same.

She has too much self respect to take the case. Hahaha.

So Gonzalez is suing voters for not voting for him? How desperate is that? Couldn’t he just get a job? Really?

Madigan got 64.7% of the vote. I don’t think that surprised any one. Sore loser. I think this is just an attempt to divert Madigan’s resources and attention during the election cycle. Gonzales is NOT a Democrat.

Wasn’t Peraica convicted of something recently? How does he still have a law license?

Folks- this ain’t cook county. If there is a case here it will get a fair shot. Madigans pull doesn’t extend to 219 S Dearborn

And what do you think the basis for a “case” would be?
Comment by Anonymouth Friday, Aug 5, 16 @ 3:07 pm
Pitchfork Peraica hasn’t won these nuisance lawsuits he has previously filed in federal court.
Comment by anon Friday, Aug 5, 16 @ 3:08 pm
Say Peraica’s name 3 times and he shall appear!

Guess we will find out Monday. Should be a fun read!
Comment by Big Muddy Friday, Aug 5, 16 @ 3:33 pm
Anonymouth- there are substantial penalties in fed ct for filing a baseless lawsuit. Case may get tossed but I doubt it’s frivolous
Comment by Sue Friday, Aug 5, 16 @ 3:39 pm
Hey- maybe we will get lucky if there is anything to this and the FIbbies will take a look. Whoever would have thought Eddie V would go down?
Comment by Sue Friday, Aug 5, 16 @ 3:43 pm
“there are substantial penalties in fed ct for filing a baseless lawsuit.”
Wish the same was true of Illinois courts!
Yes, there are provisions and rules to address this, but Illinois judges seldom dismiss frivolous suits as often as they should.

“Mr. Madigan defeated Mr. Gonzales by engaging in illegal acts both by himself and through his vast network of operatives.”
A federal lawsuit for pulling up yard signs or papering over an opponent’s poster?
What took so long? I guess lawyer shopping took a while. /s

Here is the Wikipedia on Peraica’s legal trouble -
“On December 4, 2012 Peraica was found … guilty of criminal damage to property for defacing the former rival’s campaign signs prior to the 2010 election, and he was sentenced to four months of court supervision.”
