Took a new @Snapchat profile pic outside of Wrigley this morning. Couldn’t pass up that marquee. @cubs #GoCubsGo pic.twitter.com/pZOl1jad5r

I wouldn’t recommend looking at the comment thread. The people tweeting back at him on this one are pretty darned harsh. Whew.

* And, of course, what post wouldn’t be complete without the “Because… Madigan!” angle?…
@Cubs fans, please note Sith Lord Madigan's anti-Cub history, @illinoispolicy @Joe_P_Kaiser https://t.co/T3JuWwT7A7

Cubs don't play for awhile; So go see @illinoispolicy's #Madigan movie in a theater near you! https://t.co/HiTz0WvU9L

Aww, Republicans are so cute when they try to act all hip and with it. #Sad!

The IPI piece is a hoot and demonsrates the young & dumb can steer folks into the gutter of ignorance. Tribbies wanted a blank check for their nite time operations…when city balked they sought to pre-empt with a state law. Local control fans did not go along and many including Madigan have caught Tribbie S* ever since.

I wouldn’t recommend looking at the comment thread. (So here is a link to the comment thread). Lol.
I love how he has picture backwards (look at the letters in the marquee). This isn’t the first time his staff has had problems posting pictures the right way.

HBO - “Dad’s Home State”, Season 2, Episode 49
Bruce takes selfies at Wrigley, sends it to Red Sox owner John Henry with a “Red Sox Rule” filter. Diana reads all the mail for the Republican candidates she is helping, by funding them over Democrats. Diana shrugs and giggles. Diana’s State Employee looks for a way to auction off the Governor’s Cubs’ tickets for one game for charity. Lance tweets pictures of marijuana cookies with a Cubs logos to Rep. Lang, “ck” sends an email touting the Cubs Turnaround Agenda success and congratulating Bruce. Goldberg writes a letter to the Cleveland Indians. Comedy, 65 minutes.

Going to the theater to see an IPI movie about Madigan? I think I’d rather spend a couple of hours down in my catch basin. No chance anyone would see me making such a sad choice.

Awww… Somebody bought the governor a shiny new ‘Cub’s fan’ costume to hang in his closet between the ‘cowboy’ outfit and his ‘leather man’ gear.

Rauner’s face inserted in the Snapchat ghost is the stuff of which nightmares are made. It also looks a little like he’s wearing a Darth Vader helmet.

I’m looking forward to this Wednesday’s Facebook Live discussion on breast cancer treatment and detection. I’m interested how he’ll pull Madigan (and the TA agenda) into the conversation.

Cubs lost the playoff game at Wrigley that he attended. Someone, anyone, please tell him to stay away unless he wants to become the newest biggest curse.

OMG. Are you some kinda Commie? /ssss lol.
The Cardinal Elect is making a food bet (for Heaven’s sake!)
What’s made in Cleveland that even comes close to competing with the food here?

That Proft guy calls Madigan “Sith Lord” and then wants to be taken seriously in discussions about how to fix this state. Okay.

The writers thought it tied the whole episode together.
When “ck” sends that email touting the Cubs Turnaround Agenda and the Rauner Word Jumble had “Bruce” claim it as his success, the episode really became “Emmy Worthy”

Politicians can accept the tickets if they agree to perform the public service of sitting between Drew Carey and Jim Belushi so no one else has to.

At least the Responsible Budget Coalition folks went to the trouble of sporting baseball gear. (And they had some folks brave enough to wear Sox and Cards jerseys and t-shirts outside Wrigley…)
Comment by Soccermom Monday, Oct 24, 16 @ 3:42 pm
Poor nuke kids don’t know that the Cubs have power contract with AEP which has an energy mix that is 60% coal and only 5% nukes. http://www.aep.com/Newsroom/newsreleases/Default.aspx?id=1804

@OW- quite Emmy worthy and given the Cubs coast to coast fan base it will really fly high in the ratings.
Comment by Flynn's mom Monday, Oct 24, 16 @ 3:58 pm
Shouldn’t the “Save the Nukies” be marching on Exelon hq demanding that they keep the plants open?
I mean, they made $2.2 billion in net income last year. They can’t afford to save the planet?

The American Nuclear Society (ANS) is a non-partisan organization. We have many people in our student chapter of ANS who are both democratic openly and republican. @nuclearkatie is one of our members, but I believe this is a non-partisan issue because nuclear as a resource of generating electricity is both good for the economy and good for the environment. I am a senior at the University of Illinois and the ANS President. I myself am actually an environmentalist and incredibly liberal @atomicaristides. That is an invalid statement northsider

Obstructed View, please provide a source that has numbers and percentages in it. Prove that there’s one thing you didn’t make up out of thin air. The percent sign looks like this if you didn’t know: %. Also, Chicago and Wrigley are not the same thing. The City of Chicago is mostly powered by the nuclear reactors at Braidwood, Byron, and Dresden.
