In borrowing the end of Cary Elwes’s speech from Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Speaker Madigan slowly states, “We shall never surrender…then…they shall save us…never have so many done so much for so few…”. Then, just like in the movie, the audience falls asleep and the lead character wonders why his speech was so boring.
