After two years of negotiating in bad faith with Madigan and Cullerton, and completely ignoring his Republican legislative leaders, Rauner is going to work with Chance the Rapper to finally put forth a plan to save CPS.
Imagine what might get accomplished if Beyoncé met with Rauner.

Put Chance and BVR on how to take care of Illinois’s seniors without the state actually paying for that to happen. We lost another adult day center this month, the 13th, I believe, since the impasse began. Clearly, there will be no budget, so we need some good advice.

While Rauner and Chance are working on a school funding solution this weekend, maybe they can come up with a budget to introduce to the legislature next week. The Gov can present it with a rap:
