* The Illinois Comptroller’s office claims the available dollars sitting in the state’s General Revenue Fund totals about $160 million today.
That’s about $28 million less than the $188 million Gov. Rauner made in 2015.
* The Question: Gov. Rauner’s wealth is to Illinois as ____ is to ____?

Gov. Rauner’s wealth is to Illinois as the Pritzkers is to bailing out The Ounce…

As the Chicago River is to Lake Michigan.
Rauner’s wealth is a pittance compared to the $32 billion in annual revenue the state takes in. And like the Chicago River, Rauner’s wealth flows, in part, from Illinois taxpayers and pensioners. Just as politicians reversed the flow of the river, so too have politicians diverted wealth from Illinois to Rauner.
You’d think a guy that did as well as Rauner has done would be a better advocate his state. Wouldn’t you?

The numbers on a speed limit sign to the highway number sign. Any comparison is meaningless. The question is just a blatant attempt to bash Rauner for being wealthy.

Please, let’s be fair to the vulture; it didn’t kill the raccoon. The same can’t be said of Rauner and what’s left of Illinois.
