Illinois needs to get rid of the “flat tax” and go with a “progressive tax” to force the 2% to pay their fair share.

That’s certainly NOT true when it comes to township highway departments with fewer than ten miles of roadways, as is true in a number of Cook County townships. The township cost of maintenance per mile is far higher than the cost per mile of large municipalities.
