I am shocked, SHOCKED that Bill Black and Chapin Rose would say something ignorant on the house floor. How could we waste time on people when there’s deer neutering to be discussed.

There is no excuse to behave like this. We pay them to act like clowns? These gentlemen revealed themselves to be no gentlemen at all.
It is sickening to think these people look down on some of us when we need them to do the jobs we elected and paid them to do.

Wow, I really wish I could go back and change being born in Illinois. I’m glad my concerns about ever being able to get a passport are compared to “voodoo” and less important than deer.

Illinois pols still treat the seat of government as if it were a men’s locker room. Every single day shows the level of morality of the elected officals in this state.

Joseph Cini’s departure had nothing to do with the federal investigation or a separate state report that accused him of trying to subvert state hiring laws while director of the Governor’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, Blagojevich spokeswoman Abby Ottenhoff said.
R-I-G-H-T! TICK, TICK, TICK…..

Joe Cini is a cellini person so i doubt he will get in any trouble. All the judges are bought and paid for as well as the fbi and state law enforcement agencies. That’s how they always seem to get away with it folks. They are gangsters plain and simple.

One of the perks of upper level state (and federal) government is that these employees are generally recruited for a job in the private sector eventually, if they are believed to have clout that might be useful to their new employers or if they are perceived to have skills the private sector can use.
It is certainly possible that Cini, whatever he did re patronage hiring, is simply following that time-honored path from government to a lucrative private sector job.

God, is the nightmare of this Illinois administration ever going to stop? Are there any one of these elected “representatives” with an honest bone in his body. The mob is running Illinois, pure and simple. Compared to this bunch, Hughie Long was a choir boy.

After reading the articles about Bill Black and his antics, I have lost all respect for our representatives.

Disgusted,
You are correct. The problem is all the talk in the world won’t do a thing. This is the cultural reality of Illinois. It is a cesspool.
Uncle Timmy IDs the leader of whole ‘thing.’
Mafia Mafia Mafia TO be specific Italian Mafia.

Hey, Rod here. Thought that if we waited until the middle of the broadcast of election results and during a national tragedy to announce Cini’s departure, you cats wouldn’t pay one bit of attention. Worked like a charm…

Were they reading a Beavis and Butthead transcript? The scary thing is that many of them probably are representing the opinions of their constituents.
