* I shot this video just before and during the full eclipse yesterday. It’s not a great video because most of my attention was on watching the eclipse, but it does show you how dark it got and how well Ozzy Osbourne can still play…

I’ve been to more than a few first-time music festivals, and they can often be a hassle. But the folks at Walker’s Bluff put on one of the best I’ve ever attended. Everything seemed to run smoothly.
* A bunch of us avoided the brutal heat before the show by hanging out in the air conditioned Tasting Room and going outside every few minutes to view the eclipse…
* At one point before the show I tried to take a photo of the eclipse by holding a lens from an eclipse viewer over my mobile phone’s camera lens. But then my eyes were briefly blasted by sunlight because I couldn’t see what I was doing so I took off my own eclipse glasses to get my phone into position. Oops. I’m sure these had nothing to do with my little accident…

Thanks for posting the video! So many different places I wanted to be yesterday during the eclipse to sample different takes on community. Glad to see and hear how this one went. Really cool.

Awesome. Your video reinforced my argument with Mrs Blue. I thought the sky had a greyish tint to it.

Glad to hear that things were good at Walker’s Bluff! Makes me wonder how Walker’s Bluff’s attempt to get the state to allow them to operate a casino there is going???

Their potential competition down the road apiece isn’t thrilled. Not sure what’s gonna happen. Don’t really care. As I’ve said many times, the casinos have had a good run. But their monopolies shouldn’t last forever.

Saw Ozzy in Chicago in July. Every time he was at the mic, he was looking down at the lyrics. Huh?

Just wow. That looked like it was amazing to be there and thanks for linking the other guys video. It was definitely darker there we had more of a dusk. Ozzy still sounds great and who cares if he has to read lyrics sometimes.
