> Why didn’t City Hall stop him?
City hall isn’t there to prevent corruption. City Hall is there to preserve corruption.

Obama: I didn’t know about Rezko problems ?
Nice line from someone wants to be portrayed as so forthright, intelligent and sensitive.
I guess money grows on trees Barack. Especially in ILLINOIS !

Career Education Corp is a scam. I am sure some people who get their degrees work hard but if you have $50k for a degree, and $50 for admission fees, you will join the ranks of the college ejumacated.

Still waiting for a presidential candidate from any party that doesn’t make me want to run for cover. Is there anyone else out there?

So to try to help Howe, they bring in someone from the outside who doesn’t know the system anymore. It may be good, it may not. They have someone there who was acting director before they hired in the director in ‘03, who seemed to do a good job. They should have used him and saved the extra cash.
I still think they want Howe to fail so that the Gov can have both the land at Tinley and Howe to sell off for extra cash for the state. He’s wanted Tinley Park Mental Health Center closed for several years and they lost federal funding, now Howe has. It’s way too convenient.
I just want to know who is going to care for the individuals who are going to pay the price in the long run if the place (Howe) closes? The community isn’t ready to take on that many people, nor are a lot of them ready for community placement. The state wants to downsize other state ops. It’s not a pretty picture.
