That tweet doesn’t even come close to encapsulating how terrible Benjamin Wolf is.
He’s an egomaniac who has vastly inflated stories about his “heroic” career overseas and acted in extremely creepy and intimidating ways towards potential voters/volunteers.
If you told him he had to consume an infant on live television to win, he’d ask when to show up.

Wolf needs a heck of a lot more scrutiny. He is an interesting character and someone could write a heck of a story about him. He shares Mark Kirk’s passion for resume embellishment and Anthony Wiener’s creepiness. Is he a Russian sleeper agent? An undercover FBI agent? Is he an intellectual professor or just looking to date college girls?
So many questions and so little solid info about him. I guess we should see if he files any paperwork, but I’m tired of seeing his billboard on Irving Park Road. I assumed it was a prop for one of the Chicago-based TV shows, maybe a political character in Empire or Chicago Fire or something. It’s been up for months. Has he filed any campaign finance disclosures yet?

JB dedicates a majority of his social media presence to trying to Link Rauner to Trump, and sometimes he flat out doesn’t even mention Rauner. Trump isn’t on the ballot in 18. “The referendum on Trump” special elections were a miserable failure for the dems. So why does JB’s people think they have the golden ticket? will JB run on this (Trump-Rauner) link even in the general? Would love to hear some JB fans rationale to this strategy.

Besides the creepiness factor which Wolf has in Spades, I’m not sure what positions differentiate him from Quigley.
The pic of him and Condi Rice is an interesting choice for a Democratic candidate. The pic of him in North Africa on his bio page just cracks me up repeatedly.

I don’t feel bad for him. To some degree, candidates need to inspire the crowds to want to come out. And he does have an advantage of a last name that could do that. Maybe if he actually showed up on time..
And the analogy doesn’t quite fit. Kids are innocent. His situation is more of a birthday boy who’s late to his own party and the guests have already started to leave.

Not sure how many people JB would draw if 1) he didn’t have Madigan’s blessing and 2) didn’t pay them to show up and 3) was 2 hours late.
But Chris - and this is coming from a friend - if you can’t bother to show up reasonably on-time for your own campaign appearances, drop out now.

Governor Rauner’s biggest fear is coming true. JB is “doing” a real campaign. Biss major disappointment is proving he doesn’t have chops….yet. Kennedy total failure. The lack of respect towards voters is not just an accident but becoming a pattern. Too bad you’re not your cousin joe.
Rauner may have dirt on JB but his money can drown out Rauner’s complete failures where the other 2 wouldn’t be able to draw a distinction.
