  1. I’d like to start this beautiful day off by providing our Governor, Governor Blagojevich with
    a brand new moniker.
I know, I know he’s been called and labeled with many names and nicknames. Many of them not very flattering. But this one really fits. He likes to portray himself as godlike and quote the bible.
This would be the next best thing, so here goes.
“Illinois’s Patron Saint of Corruption and Liars”.
    Now he’s a SAINT and that’s a good thing, isn’t it?

  2. So for the wine article: I can buy all the wine I want from Gallo(producer)in California and have it shipped to me but I cannot buy it from Bud’s Tap (retailer) in Memphis because Bud is not the producer. Wouldn’t that same logic apply to all catalog sales, E-Bay, and all other companies with on-line sales like Sears and Home Depot since they are simply the retailers not the producers?

  4. Poor ol’ Southern Illinois. Always ready to believe in the impossible. Where are the Leaders in Southern Illinois? Don’t they research BEFORE they take the leap? I feel sorry for the folks down there, things NEVER change. They’ve been dupped for so many years they don’t care to even fight it. The whole project stinks.

Sorry, when I first saw the above, I thought it referred to how much they spent on _media ads_.

Considering how often I’m hearing their paid propaganda on the radio, I’m sure that budget’s up there as well.
