Rauner fails to respect the role of governor and patronizes citizens by dressing the way he does, how he speaks to us, and by how he ignores anyone he can’t use.
Every politician does this, it’s just that Rauner’s really bad at it.

To Rauner,
This seems to be a hybrid look for the costume wearing Governor. You get the phony vest and all the flair… and a tie too. It appears the governor can’t find “who he is” anymore. When you lack a constituency, those things tend to happen.
I did wonder aloud if it was a gift. Maybe even given that day?
The protocol for the Rauner costume wearin’ seems to be off, which makes it even more awkward then it already looks.
