Let’s be clear about Rauner’s priorities.
Toilets are “serious as a heart attack.”
Covering up a public health crisis that kills 14 veterans and their spouses, and sickens 70 more people, isn’t.
Poisoning the people of Willowbrook with cancer-causing pollution from a corporation you own isn’t.

But didn’t Brady have toilets and “porcelain prince” signs lined up outside Pritzker’s home two today’s ago?
The toilet-humor tactic was always juvenile and counter-productive, like a Proft production. If you’re not clear that anger is what moves the needle these days, you’re not paying attention.

Don’t make light of the toilets? Are they sure Pritzker’s were these plain white ones, and not made of gold? I really think Rauner and company are “flushing” themselves by going overboard with this issue. Pritzker should have “wiped” out the payment earlier this year, so I hope he hurries up and “does his business.” /s

Yes, and the Campaign twitter has re-upped the “Prince” ad a few times, too. They can’t decide which way they want to play it, or maybe they just played it as a joke for so long they can’t easily switch gears.

Several years ago the author Robert Bly wrote a book called Sibling Society basically portraying US society as adolescent siblings squabbling.
Reading this and the posts from the last few days, the political campaigns remind me of a bunch of whiny adolescents:
Mommy, JB, Kwame, etc. kicked me! Mommy, Bruce, Erika, Jeanne, etc. pushed me!!
Is their an adult in the room anywhere in politics?? Sigh.

I should be noted, the toilets are painted “shiny”, but are 100% recyclable rubber…
… Ole Slip and Sue can’t get insurance being closer than 5 feet to “prop porcelain”.

With what sense of self respect would anyone pose with such props? This is Lt. Gov of Illinois? This cycle is just got me so down. Who really pays attention to this garbage anymore? And we wonder why people want to leave Illinois?
