Either Colin “Scopy is Scott Kennedy, or he lifted Kennedy’s classic line about Jay Hoffman. C’mon, Colin. You need to be better than that!

Until we get an official picture of the new governor, we will use this picture of Bruce Rauner wearing his JB Pritzker costume.

In this day and age, why are road signs not electronic? Much cheaper way to change the governor’s name, etc. Right?

Apparently some of you are not aware that the welcome signs do not currently have the governor’s name on them and have not since Rauner was sworn in.

When your rage is so strong you see Bruce’s name places where it isn’t, like Welcome to Illinois signs…

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought it was Pat Quinn who removed the governor’s name, at least the one I drive past on 1-24 at Paducah/Metropolis. I wasn’t able to verify that, but I did find this in the Daily Herald when Blagojevich left office: “Govs. Jim Edgar, George Ryan and Daniel Walker also did not put their names on the signs.” http://prev.dailyherald.com/story/?id=268134

I used to have a friend, since passed away, who was bald, and every time he saw a photo like that, he’d remark, “You can’t trust him. He has too much hair.”
