How about GFY GovJunk?
BTW did he permission from the Foreman of the Adams Co grand jury?

Classless. Should’ve stayed away if you’re not going to honor the peaceful transfer of power. Rauner’s distain for things won’t be missed.
Huh…
The Rauners plan to go to New Zealand. They may find their way to Italy, but, as in typical Raunerite fashion, they will do the opposite of what they said, either to prove a point or continue to mislead their real intentions. It’s pretty poetic.
“Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly”… poetic.

You have no idea how many times I fantasized about an anti-Rauner haka.
Seriously
Comment by Honeybear Tuesday, Jan 15, 19 @ 1:23 pm
Better yet, how do you say “Please go to Italy instead” in New Zealand?
Comment by Colin O'Scopy Tuesday, Jan 15, 19 @ 1:23 pm
according to Google Translate “Please go to Italy in Maori” is “Tena haere ki Itari”

Pretty cool leave-behind in the governor’s office. Good on you.

After the Lieutenant Governor was sworn in and she said how great it was to have been elected as the first African American to that office she received a standing ovation execept from Rauner. If f you cannot stand for that achievement and also for a He achievement of the state of Illinois in electing her what do you stand for totally classless. Also he did not stand for Jessie White who deserved that respect just for his life accomplishments. And I am and old white republican who thought the whole thing optimistic and hopeful

–“They said they are were going to take some time off and head for New Zealand for a while.” @ilgop Chairman Tim Schneider on what’s next for Bruce & Diana Rauner–
Yeah, because Rauner kept Schneider in the loop on all things….
You might want to sit out a few innings, slugger, and clear your head. That was quite a fastball you caught in the earhole last November.

That a boy, Bruce. Lacking class to the very end.

You can have total class when working for a classless soul.
Good on those on the whiteboard. Awesome.

They will be disappointed in New Zealand. Friends were just there and neither of the big Islands are for sale.

What was he intending to communicate with that? All I’m getting is sore loser.
If you want to be a sore loser, just don’t show, like Quinn.

“anti-Rauner haka”
1.4% wouldn’t have understood the sentiment and thought it was something supportive.
Here is an All Blacks haka

Is Rauner showing and not standing better or worse than not showing at all (Pat Quinn)
Comment by Leigh John-Ella Tuesday, Jan 15, 19 @ 1:40 pm
Nice gesture by some of the staff. Regarding Rauner, nuff said.

“Is Rauner showing and not standing better or worse than not showing at all (Pat Quinn).”
They are both bad. They both showed no class.
Comment by Montrose Tuesday, Jan 15, 19 @ 1:49 pm
Class move by the outgoing staff. Rauner didn’t do anything remotely good while in office, so why start now?
Comment by Southsider Tuesday, Jan 15, 19 @ 1:51 pm

There is a perfectly good reason for 1.4% not standing and clapping. He sprained his ego, the pain of which made it too difficult to graciously stand and celebrate the inauguration.
Those sprained egos are quite painful and take a long time to heal for the emotional fragile people like 1.4%.

I hope they enjoy New Zealand and am sure they are staying at all the same lodges the Queen does when she visits the Islands.

Bruce Rauner turned out to be the person I thought he was 4 years ago. What a classless gesture. Rauner has to be seething about Pritzker signing those pro worker bills on his first day in office. No need to hurry back from New Zealand Bruce, trust me you won’t be missed.

=Rauner stayed seated for all of the speeches when everyone else around him stood and clapped.=
I am genuinely not sure why this is a story? Did people actually believe he would exit with class? This was expected behavior from both Mr. and Mrs. Rauner.
As The Dude Abides stated- Rauner is exactly who I thought he was 4 years ago.

The union-busting governor’s first move upon leaving office is to go to a nation with a Labour Prime Minister and socialized medicine? Was Illinois too conservative for him?

Glad Rauner’s staff didn’t follow his lead, else all the “J” and “B” keys would have been missing from the keyboards.
Comment by lake county democrat Tuesday, Jan 15, 19 @ 4:05 pm
There just is no pleasing some of you.
For the past 5 years you have been complaining about what a phony Bruce V. Rauner was. Whether it was dropping his g’s, cruising around in his trash can van, talking about his immigrant grandfather living in a double wide; or wearing all of the ridiculous costumes.
For the 1st time he was real. He was genuine. He wasn’t pandering to the audience in front of him. He was showing us all what an effete, aristocratic, sore loser he truly is.
And you still criticize him.
Here’s wishing Bruce gets everything he deserves in his retirement.

Seeing as how Quinn’s staff apparently removed all the “G”’s, turnabout is fair play…

Agree Rauner should have stood and clapped at least once. However, Mendoza was enemy #2 to Madigan so I can understand his action. When u no longer have a dog in the hunt I guess u can act as u like.

Stuntman Bob’s Brother - that is a false statement. Governor Quinn’s staff did not remove “G” keys or vandalize any property. Please don’t lie.
