The Fermi National Accelerator broke ground Friday on a project that takes it into the future as one of the world’s premier particle physics laboratories.
The Proton Improvement Plan II, known as PIP-II, is a brand new leading-edge superconducting linear accelerator.
“It’s a new heart for Fermilab,” said Mike Weis, the Fermilab site office manager for the U.S. Department of Energy. “That’s really what we’re doing here.”
Weis was one of 19 speakers Friday at a groundbreaking for PIP-II which included a host of dignitaries, scientists and International representatives of participants in the project.
The governor was in attendance…

After learning of the time reversal achieved by the quantum computer earlier this week, the Governor aims to reverse the shorting of the pension funds as the next incremental step forward in quantum physics.

OK, one more time…they did this slit experiment and determined that light can be either a wave of energy or a physical particle depending on the observer. This is called the quantum level. At the macro level, an example of this would be whether or not the state budget is balanced and the pension payments are adequate, depending again on the observer and whether he is or is not the governor.
