First, there was the post-election meeting with Karl Rove and President Bush at the White House, then, yesterday’s edition of The Hill newspaper had this “photo of the day”:
Karl Rove greets Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) at a ceremony to welcome incoming members of Congress on Monday in the East Room of the White House.
Weird.

What does anyone substantively see in Obama? What I see of his record scares me!

Where is Blagorgeous in all of this? I thought he was the up and coming Dem hopeful? At one point during the budget crisis last summer, Blago claimed that polls indicated that he was the most popular governor in the nation. (I cringe as I type this, but I digress …)
Is Blago entering “has-been” and “eclipsed” territory?

I was just thinking recently about the fact that so many people who voted for Bush also voted for Obama. I think that this reflects poorly on many people, not excluding President Bush himself. With that convention last summer in NYC, it’s a wonder why more liberals and Democrats aren’t on the Bush bandwagon. Then again, a significant number have been.
