CMS is requiring mandatory in-person attendance at a pre-bid meeting for the future of JRTC, and the meeting is in Springfield. Seems a bit odd.

=efudd= I’ve noticed duck hunters can now start in t-shirts. October is the new September.And yes, I know it hit -14 in Springfield in January. On that day, I took a Google trip around the world looking at Northern cities. None were colder than Springfield that day.Including north slope of Alaska. It was only cold here. And the week before Australia hit 121….efudd..LOL… I have this urge to watch “Duck season rabbit season ” now

I just talked to an Illinois senator and he was ranting about the need for pension reform. He did not know about Tier 2 and said he would check into it.

Cook County circuit judges are electing their Chief Judge this afternoon. Tim Evans has been CJ for 18 years and is being challenged by Lorna Propes. Both have been campaigning very hard.

There was a booth at today’s Daley Center farmers market selling stuff from the garden at 26th and Cal. I bought a pint of Bees Behind Bars honey from them.
