It was said of FDR, he had a 2nd rate mind, but a 1st rate temperament. Pritzker seems to take the bad in stride and enjoy the rest of the adventure.

It’s such a major change of pace to have a governor who isn’t hyper-scripted and can genuinely have a good time without seeming forced.

What’s not seen was the tension between the governor’s protective detail and Santa’s elf detail protecting everything else. It’s still being discussed today.

I watched the video and the difference between Governor Pritzker and Bruce Rauner is remarkable. What a welcome change to have someone in office who is able to relate to other people!

Santa, seen here snubbing Gov. Pritzker, is still upset at the elves unionizing with an Illinois local that supported then candidate Pritzker over “right to elve” supporter Governor Rauner. Later, after egg nog and cookies both men made peace and wished good will towards all men, and elves.
