This is the second time prosecutors have asked to extend the deadline for Arroyo's indictment.

When the Feds finally open the curtain on this and we learn how big, how wide, how deep… and how it might’ve started… this is going to be one heck of a probe, making Greylord, Safe Roads, make them look small, possibly with a hint of Family Secrets intrigue for good measure.
Whew.

Does this mean:
1) He’s cooperating to get a better deal?
2) They learned more, and so want to charge more, so that he might do #1??

So, does that mean the indictments others are expecting tomorrow will likewise be delayed?

I mean, there have been about 27 different days where indictments were expected that have not materialized, so…

Didn’t they delay Alderman Edward Burke indictment too?

Delaying indictments is not uncommon in a large investigation. It could be because Arroyo or someone else is cooperating and providing information that affects how Arroyo will be charged. Or it could just be they have a lot of information obtained by search warrants, and the agents are still working through it.

I’ve been saying that this could be bigger than Greylord and Gambat. It certainly has the potential. But, we’ll have to wait and see. In fairness to everyone, it isn’t until there’s actual indictments on several people.

That means still no confirmation on Terry Link. Guess he’ll vote in the senate prez race.

Prosecutors were confused when he told them “No way I ain’t not no guilty”. No wonder they needed more time.
