* I miss baseball, but this helped…
My mother, Nancy Faust, who was in Arizona during Spring Training, sent me this message last week. Thought it would be fun to share for #OpeningDayAtHome, and let's go @whitesox!!! pic.twitter.com/oL0hPQMxL0

Thank you Rich! As a long time White Sox fan it was great to listen to Nancy Faust, like sunshine on a cloudy day! I miss sports like the desert misses the rain. But being a data nerd I miss baseball the most.

Na na, hey hey, Nancy Faust is still the best.

If she had a buck for every time she played that. MLB organists dont get old they age very gracefully

Nancy Faust is a treasure. This gave me such a smile. Baseball is my heart. It’s like seeing / feeling that heart warm in your body.

I’d like to see how the Sox look this year. It’s an interesting roster that they’ve put together on the south side. Not so optimistic about the Cubs chances. They might be caught between rebuilding and contending at this point. That spells mediocrity.

Tommy John surgery looking more appealing during a shortened season.

Pundent — I am looking forward to see how the Sox look as well.
I believe they have more good young players in the majors and minors at this stage than the Cubs did at the beginning of their run. Like all teams the achilles heel for the Sox will be pitching. Hopefully in the next year or two they will be WS contenders and have enough good minor leaguers to trade for pitching. I just do not want the Sox to empty the cupboard of young players the way Epstein did for the Cubs.

Sheltering in place never felt so good after watching Nancy bring back the sounds of the old ball game.

Wayne & Kathleen Messmer will sing the National Anthem on Facebook Live at 3:30 for 2020 Virtual Opening Day. I’ll have my jersey on & hell I might cry during it but I’m in.

Baseball? I would expect the Blues to be wrapping up the Western Conference best record with 5 games left. Time for the hockey beard.

Go Tokyo Yakult Swallows (my favorite Japanese baseball team - in Tokyo they’re kinda like the White Sox are to the Cubs (Yomuri Giants))
