Not great but there was obviously a massive backlog from the 3-day weekend. Interesting to see McLean County record 3 deaths.

It’s now the second day in a row the state has been below 20,000 in tests. I wonder if that’s just the slow start to the week after the holiday or something else. A couple weeks back the Washington Post had an article on a decreasing demand for tests, and in IL there was that kerfuffle about the Bloomington drive thru site and now the new Champaign site is only doing 150 tests/day when there’s a capacity for 750.
https://www.news-gazette.com/coronavirus/coronavirus-response-lines-for-drive-thru-testing-site-nearly-nonexistent/article_ab1394d9-838b-574f-84d6-f0ff145676b7.html
I’m curious about the supply vs. demand situation in IL. What’s our daily capacity? I also wonder if it wouldn’t be better to have more mobile testing options. For example, instead of having the site set up in Champaign, there would be a daily pop-up site with say 250 tests in small towns all around the Champaign area, every day going to a different town.

-MyTwoCents…..I think your idea of mobile Covid Tests from town to town…. is an excellent idea. Hope the Governor looks at that.
