Positivity rate just keeps inching up… slow but steady. Please mask up (or keep doing so), neighbors.

Indiana has made not wearing a mask a misdemeanor. Governor, it’s time to do the same and enforce it, at least indoors. Play “bad cop” and give these businesses and people in some regions who are intimidates by anti-maskers some cover.

=== Governor, it’s time to do the same and enforce it===
He cannot unilaterally decree that unless it’s already somewhere in statute.

I was pleased to see that the creator of the wonderful https://91-divoc.com/ site works at UIUC, and has recently made a page dedicated specifically to showing all the regions and counties in IL, where you can choose between all the data you can think of to display on the graphs
https://91-divoc.com/pages/interactive-visualziation-of-covid-19-in-illinois/ (yes, a typo, but still loads for now)

With Rich’s clarification, let me rephrase: “Governor and legislative leaders, it is time for you to convene the legislature and do the same.” I don’t mean to detract from the good that Pritzker has done to-date, but I think we need to raise our voices to force the issue because he (and almost everyone else) seem to be stuck on urging/reasoning/pleading and that has either been exhausted or is working far too slowly.

Any idea what the R0 is within these regions?
Comment by Dee Lay Monday, Jul 27, 20 @ 1:29 pm
Dee Lay,
which regions are you asking about? IDPH calculates positivity on an individual county basis, which is how Adams, Peoria, LaSalle and Randolph got warned last week.
I’m just not certain where to find the information on their website; I just look at the statewide map with cases and deaths.

You can select by county or zip code and you get some charts at the bottom of the page. The tested charts seem to be state wide.
