Congressman Sean Casten appeared to think flashing “666″ (the Biblical number referring to the Anti-Christ) Tuesday along with some folks in a parking lot outside a polling place.
Maybe self-proclaimed atheists like Casten think that’s funny?
Um, I dunno, maybe it’s because Casten represents the 6th Congressional District?…

Reminds me of former US Route 666 in western New Mexico, nicknamed the “Devil’s Highway”. The route number was changed years ago, reportedly because of the high number of roadway sign thefts.

“Maybe self-proclaimed atheists like Casten think that’s funny?”
As someone who is not an atheist, Illinois Review’s reaction is extremely funny. Why would he flash a 666 at all? If you are an atheist, then you don’t believe in the anti-Christ either. And, you know, Ayn Rand was an atheist…. Just sayin’….

If he wins maybe he would be better off having his new remapped district get a different number than “6.”

looks like they are flashing 5-1-5-1-1-5. Google shows that is the part number of a wheel hub assembly. The part that attaches the wheel to the vehicle. Obviously Casten and crew are trying to tell us that the wheels are off the bus.

From the post: Casten is being challenged by conservative Republican Jeanne Ives in a close race.
I need to check with QAnon to find out their definition of ‘close’.

I think that when the third six is signed backwards it means the deathstar is now functional and the 0-ring needs to be thrown into Mount Doom or the illuminati will commence the final programme in the name of the starchild. Oh, it’s 2020, so I’d better add the label. /s

I think Casten and his staffer are merely expressing support for Dick Butkus. I don’t know what the other guy is doing.

A classic Dana Carvey clip is the last thing I expected to see today, but just what was needed.

I am an actual atheist. I can assure you that the number 666 is completely meaningless to me and to my friends, most of whom are also atheists living here in Illinois, not worshipping anything.

He knew exactly what he was doing. It’s an animal house like attempt to bait the supporters of his opponent. Not quite peak childishness but getting close.

I’m trying to figure out why 2 of them have their left thumb up and the other fingers of that hand down, and one has the right index finger up and the other fingers of that hand down, but I can’t make sense of it. I’m sure Q has the answer . . . .

One strange but unfortunate thing:
They are wearing masks, so you know they must be Democrats.
Most Republicans would have refused.
It is unfortunate that in a pandemic response, politics to some has overcome science.
But in any case, I for one am convinced that the point is to show #18, and on this day, remind people that Mike Tomczak was one of the greatest quarterbacks in Chicago Bears history.

Maybe he’s signaling the Democrats’ secret plan to expand the US House of Representatives and add 648 congressional seats to the Illinois delegation! Casten, as the evil mastermind behind the plan, will represent District 666.
