  5. To any and all Republicans looking to move up / move out;

    Resolve to bring honesty to your record, to unifying the state, to not run a primary race of anger and division to then ignore that come April 2022…

    Resolve this year to show come March 2022 and November 2022, it was in 2021 you were visionaries to a better Illinois and win by strong political acumen, winning by out hustling, and by growing a bigger tent.

    Resolve to make 2021 about seeing Chicago, Cook, the collars not as the enemy, and also not just the “piggy bank”, but as part of a whole state you hope to lead, as important as any part of Illinois… a whole.

    Finally, resolve to be part of a party rebuild in 2021 as you run for 2022 by removing hateful and angry national narratives from the rebuilding and make it about Illinois, first, last, always, and gone Illinois a two party option, not a resentment party that isn’t inclusive to things that make Illinois special.

    That’s a good start.

  16. My wish is that our neighboring state—Indiana—would institute guidelines to prevent the rising rate of Covid. Rate is currently 24.8% from the Indiana Department of Health. Mitigation, anyone.
