Push the 2022 primary election back from March 15 to August 16 per Rich’s suggestion of a late summer primary given census data delay and inevitable court challenges.

=== Rich’s suggestion===
Where did he “suggest” that?
I went back. Where is that suggestion?

I am sure Team JB would love an August primary… let Bailey and whoever else on the other side whack each other the whole time while he is promoting himself.

This?
===… they could pass some sort of cross-your-fingers stopgap, delay the 2022 primary into the summer and put off the map voting until January - if the courts go along. Or, they could just try to hold their super-majority votes together and get something done this summer.===

Push the 2022 primary election to two weeks after Labor Day. NY State routinely has non-presidential primaries in September.

OW: Yes, casual suggestion by Rich, and quickest/easiest way to solve some of problems w/ delayed census data, IMHO

This was also connected to that thought;

Throw in the courts and the inevitable challenge… we’ll see

Oh be serious. If they pushed back the midterm primary until late summer 2022 how would the flacks, consultants, fundraisers and media buyers possibly keep the wolf from their doors in the interim? /s

Pitchers and catchers report in probably a little over two and a half weeks, assuming that the pandemic doesn’t change that.

The halcyon days of the Maine Township Republicans appear to be over. Char Foss Eggeman is no Martin Butler.

This came to my mind as I made my morning commute to the Complex past one former and one soon-to-close Family Video store.
With Gamestop in the headlines this week, why couldn’t Family Video had merged with Gamestop or some other gaming store? Seems to make sense for me–one store (outside of Best Buy or Walmart, etc.) that would offer both movies and video games.
Then again, there are a lot of retail mergers I would have loved to have seen go differently (e.g., Kansas City Southern and Illinois Central RR should have merged; also KFC and Arby’s should have been placed under the same corporate umbrella with some places having dual KFC-Arby’s outlets).

wondering who monitors electronic monitoring of Cook County juveniles? wondering for those in the 9 carjacks suspected by the 14 year old who was on electronic monitoring and apprehended by authorities.

The brick and mortar rental business is all but dead, is why. GameStop wasn’t chosen because of its potential business model, it was chosen by hedge funds because its dying, and by Reddit because it was a cheap stock hedge funds were betting on.
