* Considering his rather “out there” social media presence, it’s not like he’d be running for governor anyway, but this looks like it could seal the deal…

The Ricketts family in “Chicago” and to Cub Fandom, the family squandered so much goodwill that helped some bad, it’s tough to see a groundswell of people saying “we need a Ricketts in Springfield” after so much with the ball club and emails.
Plus, a national profile suits billionaires willing to be seen for the cash they have, not the policies they may tout. If you can’t be the Chairperson, be the money chair, every time.
I’d be interested how Ricketts sees Kinzinger, in the overall, just for me, lol

Well yeah, if someone else came in and looked at the books - it might be a problem.

I’m tired of all these families to be wary of.

Ricketts is going to do for the RNC what his family is doing to the Cubs: put a crummy product on the field and charge top dollar for it. Brilliant.

Wow, there’s a shocker. The party of the rich, installs a rich guy as finance chair.

Never underestimate a Ricketts’s massive ego. Like many billionaires with kooky ideas, they’ll forever assume that their personal views are wildly popular among the serfs.
