They went, they won, they even got the t-shirt

Wow, they even got the correct state outline on the shirt.

A shirt designed to make some “I-L-L”

They need to enjoy it while they can.

Tell me you’ve never been south of South Loop without *telling* me you’ve been south of South Loop.

Much cooler than the Griffindor scarfs.

“The Illini look forward to avenge this loss… sometime in the 2060s, according to scheduling”

Have to give them credit. They took down the over hyped, overrated and out of the tourney Illini.

The Ramblings of a Winner
Comment by Oswego Willy Wednesday, Mar 24, 21 @ 2:26 pm
Lord, I was born a rambling man, trying to win a title and doing the best I can

It took me until late yesterday to come around to putting the Illini loss behind me. For a couple days I thought I wouldn’t even root for Loyola. But they deserve it. They outplayed Illinois. And definitely out coached them.

I thought this was a blue state.

This season Loyola beat Chicago State, UIC, Lewis U, U of St. Francis, ISU (twice), Bradley (twice), SIU (three times) and U of I.
I think that warrants a shirt.

=This season Loyola beat Chicago State, UIC, Lewis U, U of St. Francis, ISU (twice), Bradley (twice), SIU (three times) and U of I.=
They didn’t play NIU, EIU, WIU, or SIUE–however, if they did they most likely would have won anyway, possibly big.

My team went all the way to the Sweet Sixteen and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.
Comment by Tom Collins Wednesday, Mar 24, 21 @ 2:42 pm
Why does the design look so sad?

When you Crush the Orange, you get a t-shirt
Comment by Oswego Willy Wednesday, Mar 24, 21 @ 2:46 pm
Can I get one in Orange and Blue?
Comment by DuPage Saint Wednesday, Mar 24, 21 @ 3:05 pm
There’s no “I” in team.

===Can I get one in Orange and Blue?===
Of course.
Of course it says “Their State” with the Loyola mascot marking where UIUC is, but orange and blue, yeah…
:)

What did Sister Jean give up for lent? Losing! Ramble on Loyola!
Comment by Eire17 Wednesday, Mar 24, 21 @ 3:13 pm
You can’t spell Loyola without L-O-L.

We had a Rambler when I was a kid. Not a great memory.
Comment by Bruce( no not him) Wednesday, Mar 24, 21 @ 3:25 pm
It reminds me of the billboard wars during Big Ten Conference Football with both Illinois and Northwestern claiming to be the “Big Ten” team for Chicago. That grudge match did not go so well for Lovie Smith.
Loyola played a terrific game on Sunday. The Ramblers should have been ranked higher for tournament.

That’s a shirt I’d like to see adopted everywhere not just by Loyola U. Very nice design indeed.
