  4. Spending $400K on Facebook…

And the GOP folks running against him… isn’t that almost the most one has on hand?

SoS or Treasurer… those are better bets

  11. Well, these stretchy claims prove that Blue Wave Illinois hopes that voters are incapable of nuance. I have not seen any of these ads either before this post.

  12. =Frank Talk= Look at the bright side. Kinda Chairperson Robin Kelly might figure the whole law thingy out in a few months.

  13. There are some similar billboards up along suburban highways also. I saw some on my drive from Springfield to O’Hare on Monday.

  14. There are bunch of these on billboards too. But you can’t read half of the billboard because the design/font size is lousy.

  15. Have not seen them yet, but love the simple messaging. It could have been simpler, like “Republicans” instead of “Republican legislators,” but that’s nothing big. Theses are not needed, just simple and direct messaging.

Hope one on the Child Tax Credit is done (that’s a big one): “Democrats cut child poverty nearly in half. Republicans voted against it.”

  16. Saw this on a billboard on 39 just south of Rockford today. Agree with the other poster who said it doesn’t quite work as a billboard. Have not seen it on Facebook (yet).

  17. “Republican legislators” places the blame exactly where it belongs.

  18. I saw some of these billboards on the expressway in Chicago a few days ago.

He recently updated his twitter profile to say his priorities are “Faith, Family, Farming”. I keep having flashbacks to the film dodgeball and the 5 d’s “Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge”.
