  2. Glad to see McCulloch convicted of petition shenanigans. Now perhaps the Lake County prosecutors will have the backbone to look into and file charges in the petitions submitted for Terry link

Petition misdeeds have been increasing in frequency lately.

  3. McCulloch is innocent. I know him well because I worked with him on John Cox’s 2002 U.S. Senate campaign. He would never violate an election law. I live in St. Sen. Link’s district, and I hope that his name will be removed from the ballot. Many names, on his petitions, were obviously copied from a phone book.

  4. A $100 million childrens museum??? That’s the last thing we need! How about lower the freakin taxes. Or put me on city payroll for $100,000+ a year.

  6. When I went to Northern Illinois in the 80s, the head of the College Democrats was named Rod McCulloch. Is this the same guy?

  7. PhilC

I have had recent experiences with him and my radar was flashing warnings to stay away. Looking at the article, it seems that 12 jurors believed the evidence presented, not the defense.

Remember the felony was for lying about something under oath, while petition thing was a misdemeanor.
