Never during this year’s State Fair did I see any mention in the media of the previous day’s attendance. Wasn’t that long ago that the world would grind to a halt if those attendance figures were not made available to the media by 10:00 the following morning.

YouTuber Tom Scott has posted an interesting 7m video on the electrification system of the Chicago and Sanitary Ship Canal trying to stop the copi getting into the great lakes.

I learned quite a few things from it.
