* It’s the 21st of September, kids…
Do you remember
The 21st night of September?
Love was changin’ the minds of pretenders
While chasin’ the clouds away
Our hearts were ringin’
In the key that our souls were singin’
As we danced in the night, remember
How the stars stole the night away, oh, yeah

Tough not to not only love this song but to not turn it up “to 11”
I know I could use this interlude. Thanks.

I’ve seen Rich Miller walking down Mich Ave in Chicago with the exact outfit the lead singer is wearing in the video

Thank you. What a nice surprise for an afternoon break.
My spouse and I have quite different tastes in music. When we put our record collections together, we intersected only at EWF. First saw them in ‘95.

I’ll bet if they made that guy’s outfit the official uniform of Chicago P.D., crime would drop to zero.

Thank You for brightening our day. Great group, great song. They always look like they are having as much fun as their audience.

I know they’ve been doing this for a while but is BlueRoomStream getting paid for these twitter ads/press releases? https://twitter.com/BlueRoomStream/status/1572695739134017536

@ Not Rich–
Why am I not surprised to hear that? Lol
Was anyone else disappointed to see that the next song Vevo suggested was “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang? I would have gone with “Get Down It”.

Sorry I never saw EW&F live, with the late, great Maurice White, who lived and developed his career in Chicago.
Comment by Grandson of Man Wednesday, Sep 21, 22 @ 4:53 pm
since you mention Earth Wind and Fire. I found out Maurice White once performed with the late Ramsey Lewis. Lewis passed away recently.

I have asked this question the last few years on Facebook. Great minds?

Apparently EWF put no special thought or meaning into the date. According to a recent radio interview the song writer said it sang better than anything else.
