Looking forward to the return of early Spring temps this week. The weekend temps in the 217 were nasty.

I wish Chicago reporters would stop being too polite to ask Brandon Johnson about his church. He brought it into the discussion by constantly bringing up god and bragging about being a pastors son. His father is a pastor in the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. Before I vote, I want to know if Johnson still goes to an anti-gay church where they speak in tongues.

It’s a very good question to ask and understand, especially if you ignore too whom Vallas is courting, the choices are not great.

Happy First Day of Spring. Ready for warmer temps and hotter heads as the election approaches in fifteen days.

==Johnson still goes to an anti-gay church==
You think the Greek Orthodox (or Roman Catholic for that matter) church is not anti-gay?

That’s a pretty big whataboutism. Regardless, it has been standard practice for people to clarify their position on choice and gay marriage when it substantially deviates from their declared denomination.
Joe Biden’s been doing it since 1973.

Sad news out of Prairie Central District District 8 (Fairbury, Chenoa, Forrest, Cropsey, Chatsworth, etc.)–two seniors were killed in an accident at Copper Mountain in Colorado this weekend. The two were athletes. Friend in Fairbury has told me their names but since it is not official I will not mention them. Story is they were on a snow mobile or a sled and went off a cliff and died on impact. The district is on Spring Break this week and is working with the community to help students and staff as well as members of the community with the grief they are going through.
