It’s gray and dreary and rainy, and I am glad that I can stay inside today.

Kudos to the Blackhawks for their handling of the situation with their player over the last several days.
And a “tip of the hat” for the player to come out and address it publicly.

The weather computer says it’s going to rain until about midnight. At least I don’t have to get out the snow shovel.

rain. good because snow doesn’t always make it through some trees and trees and shrubs need water until the ground freezes.

Jonathan Jackson as a present vote (one of just two in all) on the George Santos expulsion, curious to hear that explanation. Illinois Republican delegation split, Darin LaHood a yes for expulsion, Mary Miller and Mike Bost both went no.

Ready to cheer on the Illini women in Houston competing to bring a national title to Champaign

Heck of an interesting split, given that LaHood and Bost signed the amicus brief for Texas v. Pennsylvania in 2020 but Miller did not. I’m not even sure if this observation means anything. Interesting tidbit nonetheless.
